I find it "amazingly" sad how a situation or experience can actually shift a person's character, shaping it into who the person is, where the person belongs and where he or she should go. So much so that when one's identity is placed into question, the answer lies in what one does and not who the person really is. Is this just part of the cycle of life or does it simply show how fragile we humans really are..? How we judge by what we see or hear, how we adapt based on what others are doing, how we look/think just by assuming what others are thinking, what we do with regards to what others do. It puzzles me sometimes, how the human mind works. What the heart wants, the mind does not know, though it thinks it does. The mind makes careless assumptions and thoughts but the heart knows what it's after. Most people shut off what's inside their heart, and look into their minds...thinking that it's from the heart. It is only when one searches for the deepest things of the heart that he/she can truly understand who we really are.
