Yesterday's lab was ...gross. Double confirmed that I do not want to become a vet. It just looks so cruel man. But no matter what, these kinda shit has to be carried out for the better of all the animals. It just can't be done by me, I can't do it anyway. I watched as some classmates and the lecturer drew blood from the bunny's little vein and turned it downwards to jab it for sedation before slitting it's lip to collect more blood. It's more cruel than it sounds really. I did nothing anyway, besides sitting around and smelling various odours of rabbit pee. Just before I headed for the trails today, I spotted a critter sitting by the window sill, almonds in hand, munching away. It was a monkey, a frikin' monkey sitting in my house. My Sis and I searched around the house to check out what it did. Apparently, it stole a couple of chocs, unwrapped it nicely and cracked it into half so as to attain the nut. Then it confidently walked towards the kitchen, searched around before stumbling upon a box of almonds and a packet of bread. Snatched them food away and hopped along to the window. Satisfied, he sat there and consumed what he found. Even after spotting us, he sat there and collected as many nuts as he could before leaping off to my pet tree to consume it furthur. HELLOW, it was insane! I was super excited hahaha it was totally funny but my Sis was pissed man 'cause it was all her baking goods and her food but anyway the almonds were in a frikin' air tight container where you have to press in the middle to open it and the critter got it open 0_0 smarter than some humans I know man. Anyway I only managed to get a picture of it chilling out on the tree. I bet if we didn't come down it would've called it's clan and totally ransack the house.
