Okay yesterday's night cycling was pretty fun, well at least more fun than I expected (I expected gruelling road climbs and being last and having to catch up) but it was pretty awesome 'cause there were slow riders but there were also really fast riders and there was about 40 people so it was kinda cool seeing like a mass of blinking lights riding on the road. Suppered together at some teochew porridge stall and then another bunch headed for a second round at the ts cafe in upp bt timah which I obviously joined 'cause it's near my house and they were all hyping about some ultra thick peanut butter + condensed milk toast that's apparently a "must-try". Wasn't too great though plus it's super sinful but anyway I thank God I managed to complete the route. I was like a stone's throw away from Malaysia, should've brought my passport haha. Cycled to Tuas and then looped back to Boon lay and then back down to Upp Bt Timah. And the best part is some of them cycled from east coast, holy shit right. I'm supposed to be in the trails right now but meh awesome weather to sleep in. I guess road cycling isn't too bad after all, it's pretty fun but nothing can beat the pure awesomeness of offroad. Speaking of which, I think I just might join the Bali trip next year, hmmmmmm.
