Omg I can't believe it, my Mom just offered to pay for my bike first when I just randomly blurted out in the car that I was gonna get a new bike. And she actually suggested that I get a good bike instead of upgrading bit by bit. I was like whoaaaa, then I continued telling her about how there's a 20% offer now at Rodalink on the '09 models. And so I'll be checking it out tomorrow before church! Awwwwesome, I had better not give up MTB, considering all the time and money I'm about to invest in it. I really like the bear logo on the bar grip ends of the '10 models though, think I'll change to those grips if I get the '09 one. I dunno I think I'd better read up more. Making a 2K mistake is not a joke really. My Dad offered me another incentive to study and get some cash in return. But, I don't know I don't think I'll be taking that up. Looking at all their encouragements and efforts and support by buying me stuff and all, I think I'm gonna try my best and work hard for the remaining years of school I have left. I guess other parents should learn that scolding/punishments doesn't help change the situation. But what do I know I am just a kid. Did BT to RR trail alone today, completed it faster than I expected. Still can't clear a few of the disgusting uphills and there's one particular downhill that I seem to have problems with, gotta watch the others pick their line again. Anyhoo, went for prayer meeting today. Pretty fun, managed to catch a glimpse of the million dollar cars on the million(s) dollar track. Nice city backdrop to it. It is actually pretty nice to watch, hearing the sound of the wheels is especially cool. I just wouldn't pay for it, still think it's a waste of dough...
