8) my salmon just arrived. Omg I have been waiting for Mr Salmon for like 2 months and finally he took a flight down from Norwegia down to my home. I'm honoured. Though I had to cut him into half. The fishy couldn't fit into my frikin' fridge man and so I was panicking like seriously I have never cut a fish before, it's scary. I don't even cut vegetables, I eat them whole. I looked at the fish and I aimed the chopper at it but it looked sad but then I had to psych myself that the fishy already died on its miserable death ride so I smashed the chopper downsmack onto its skin but no, I just got grime splashing on me. Looked around for a sharper knife and thought it would do the trick but nooo, fishy's skin was very, very hard. My whole kitchen table was slimy. And then I found, the one and only, SAMURAI KNIFE. Whoa, you won't believe how slender and small it is...but it works like a diamond-cutter. Sliced through it like a baby downright to the bone before I used the scissors to snap the lil' joints off. Now I sound like a maniac but anyhoo, finally the salmon was cut into half. Wrapped it with tons of that transparent paper thingy and dumped it into the freezer, ready for consumption later on. And so I'm not going to Bar and Billiard later anymore 'cause Mr Salmon's settling down in my home, guess those oysters just have to wait. I had to soak my hand in dettol and lifebuoy and lavender scrub man. But it is soooo gonna be worth it. I hope there's no spoilage 'cause I didn't even desensitize the table before placing fishy on it...0_0
